To go native? or not to go native?
So I’ve been kicking around the idea of doing a native app version of iWeathr for the App Store on the iPhone/iPod Touch… I’m kinda torn though… While the exposure on the App Store would be huge, I’m debating over whether or not it would be worth the time to port the app considering the user experience would be no different than viewing the existing web application and I’d probably release the app for free anyway.
I’ve received some great support from the iPhone community with their compliments, contributions and generous donations. For me, what started out as just a simple personal project so I know when the storm are coming down the river here, has grown to over 8.2 million views in the past year alone!
